Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {Invitations}

Hello everyone!

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9....that's how many mosquito bites I've got. Round, red, burning bites. They are on the roll. They have come with the rain, but while the rain moved on, the mosquitoes decided to stay a while. I hope no one ever comes up with a stamp set with mosquitoes! 

I'm glad I'm on time with my card for the latest Embellish Color Challenge, because the colors are irresistible!  When one throws Kraft in there, anything is possible. 

I grant my husband two things that I had never thought would happen, before we met: reading(and watching) Harry Potter and drinking tea. I got to the point where I would finish a book at 12 at night and James would finally think we're going to bed, but no, I had to start the next one.."just a couple more pages...". 

About the tea, we have now a true ritual. We buy the cream of the crop of Darjeeling and we let it steep just the right time. Then we pour it in a nice tea pot and drink it from our favorite tea cups....it's a love affair we have now with the tea.

Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {Baby Theme}

Hello everybody!!

I'm still here, stealing a little bit of time everyday to work on a card, but until now I haven't had so much time for blogging. But my little one is sleeping soundly (hopefully till the end of this post) and my husband is still at work, so this is the right moment!

It's been a while since I made a card for a baby, so I couldn't resist the latest Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {Baby Theme}. Here is what I came up with:

Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {with Butterflies}

Hello again! 

All I can say is "Yay for schedules!". When I started a schedule with my baby boy, I dreaded having every minute of my day planned, but by now I'm beginning to like it, in a painful sort of way. Usually, because of it, I manage to work out, make a card and do some things around the house. 

For today I have a card for the newest Embellish Color Challenge {with Butterflies}.

I'm so sad that the days for taking walks are over for (too) many months! This Saturday the temperatures will be close to 100 F. How are we gonna live without taking walks every day until maybe Halloween (seriously!)? My dream place to live is where the mornings are always cool and where I can see a mountain top from my bedroom window. Any suggestions?

Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {With Borders} meets Moxi Fab's Olympics of Stamping

Hello all!

Something about March makes me happy! The bright sun that hides behind the clouds once in a while, the flower bench that my mother-in-law brought us over the weekend, and the hope of a new season that brings the earth back to life. And Easter is only a month away. 

That's why it wasn't hard at all to dig in the pastel colors for the new Embellish Challenge.

Any plans for Easter yet? My brother is planning to come from Romania, but he has to go through the visa interview still. It would be awesome to have him here for a little while.

New Embellish Color Challenge {with Ribbon}

Hello again!

I found my way back with another card. I can't really plan to make one these days, but I'm glad when I can get around to do it.

~ Ink: Stampabilities {Brown}, PTI {New Canvas}.

I have planned to use the most beautiful turquoise ribbon that I used to have (I still hope to have it somewhere), but I. Just. Could. Not. Find. It. So I had to improvise with some thread and turquoise cardstock. I'm not very sure it counts for the {Ribbon} Challenge, but I'll give it a try.
