Dear everyone,

I have some Christmas cards for today! This reminds me of my best friend from high school, Gabriela, that used to wish me Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year at random times during the year! :-) So, here I am, wishing you all the best for the holidays! :-)

I made these cards for Moxi Fab World {Stretch Your Holidays Style} ~ the Stamping Challenge ~ and I really got into it! I had a lot of fun. Well, I only have one Christmas stamp set right now, so I really {streeeeetched} my holidays cards style, trying to combine the stamps in all the ways possible.

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #15

Hello again!

I hesitated to play this time with Dawn's amazing color combination, because it was a bit intimidating. Then I decided to keep it rather simple and see where it goes! :-) I don't know how medium my pink is, but I used whatever seemed right. I also used a very neat technique for the ribbon I saw on Linda Johnson's blog. It's really easy and I like the result.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #32

Hello everyone!

I have a card for this weeks' Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I haven't played in a while, but the sketch this time was too hard to resist! :-) 

I haven't drank coffee in more than 3 months. Since I became pregnant, I can't tolerate the smell and the taste. Isn't that wild for someone that had to have coffee to start her day? :-)

Lately, since I felt the need for a warm drink once in a while, I discovered that tea is not so bad! :-)

Papertrey Ink's August BLOG HOP Challenge

I should very well go ahead and declare August my busiest month. :-) I haven't posted in TWO weeks?! That's a long time. Nothing was going on really, beside Winn's wedding, my husband's brother. We spent a wonderful weekend in Corpus Christi, by the seaside. One of my highlights, beside the wedding itself, was the dolphin show at the Aquarium. 

Although I didn't feel the muse courting me, I couldn't miss Papertrey BLOG HOP. I love going from blog to blog and checking out everyone's creations. I always find new inspiration and artists I want to follow. 

August Blog Hop

August is the month that Papertrey celebrates all things autumn!  What better way to get inspired for the  upcoming season change than each other!  Our challenge to you is to create a project inspired by any  aspect of fall.  How about texture like fabrics, burlap, courduroy or stitching.  Then there is color with  hues found in autumn leaves, fall berries and other late season delectables.  Patterns or motifs such as  leaves, pumpkins, wheat and more.  Try to use these attributes in fun and interesting ways that may be  a little out of your normal comfort zone.  We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

With the Fall cards for this month's BLOG HOP I was inspired by Kristina Werner's one layer cards and from Clean and Simple Stamping Blog. I find simple and tasteful cards irresistible! :-)

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #14

Hello everyone!

I'm back! My friend Alyene left to go back home, but we enjoyed having her with us. We met when we were both in Germany and share a lot of adventures together. Those were our "wild" times :-) How can I forget the train trip to Prague, when one of our friends took a bite off a candy bar after I told him it has no peanuts in it (the bar didn't have the ingredients in English, but it had them in Romanian)? He was allergic to peanuts. The candy bar had peanuts in it. Don't ask me what we went through, in a train where no one spoke English, beside an old doctor in the last wagon. The minutes until the next train stop were the longest ones in my life. The paramedics were waiting for us already and Kevin got his shot of epinephrin. If he didn't, probably I would have blogged from behind bars now...

I haven't posted a card in a while and the owner of the coffee shop where I sell my cards told me they are short so I should bring in some more....I really felt I was way behind in my card endeavors. 

This morning I woke up with fresh energy and worked on my orders and also on Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #14. I enjoy more and more making my own backgrounds (I use "my own" loosely, because I still need a lot of inspiration from other card makers :-) )

So, this is the card and I only have one problem with it. I took some time to edit it and tweak it and trying to make it look its best, only to have Blogger shrink it to a little  and unclear size....How can I upload bigger pictures in Blogger? Thank you, I appreciate any suggestion!

I'll be missing for a while

The days passed my me so fast already and didn't get the chance to post another card! 

Today I am looking forward to seeing one of my best friends, who is coming to visit us from Dallas, Alyene.

I'll be missing from the blogging world for the next couple of days, also. But by the end of the week, I should be back on track, ready to take on challenges again! :-)
