I'm back again, glad that I have another card to share with you. I liked the concept I used for my previous card and because my sister-in-law is going to visit us for her birthday, I made one just like it, only with different (and more) colors (the Papertrey Paper Dolls Color Challenge).

Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {with Butterflies}

Hello again! 

All I can say is "Yay for schedules!". When I started a schedule with my baby boy, I dreaded having every minute of my day planned, but by now I'm beginning to like it, in a painful sort of way. Usually, because of it, I manage to work out, make a card and do some things around the house. 

For today I have a card for the newest Embellish Color Challenge {with Butterflies}.

I'm so sad that the days for taking walks are over for (too) many months! This Saturday the temperatures will be close to 100 F. How are we gonna live without taking walks every day until maybe Halloween (seriously!)? My dream place to live is where the mornings are always cool and where I can see a mountain top from my bedroom window. Any suggestions?

Color Cue {4} Challenge

Hi everyone!

Today is Saturday and that means I get to have enough time to post a card. My two boys, my big baby and my little baby, are hanging out together. 

I made a card for Color Cue {4} Challenge. I know that the colors "screamed" a baby boy card, but I really wanted to use Dawn's Woodgrain Silhouettes. My resources for these particular colors are rather limited, so I used some clear embossing powder to create some shades of blue. So here is what I came up with:

I'd love to stay longer but, as usual, it's feeding time. Again. I have become rather fond of our time spent together, nursing. We had a rocky start, but now I'm thinking that the day I'll stop nursing is going to be a sad sad day.

ColourQ Challenge #32

Hello everyone,

I finally got some time last night to make a card. I thought I would knock two challenges down, until this morning when I realized that I miss one of them. "No big deal", I thought, until I realized that if we're going to church, I'm gonna miss the second one, too! WHAT?! No, I couldn't let that happen, so I'm going to do this quick and dirty and hopefully have time to come back and fix some details. And like I should have expected, my photo editing program just doesn't want to open. 

So here is my entry for ColourQ this week, slightly edited, with the emphasis on "slightly". I'm truly bummed, it's crazy that it affects me like that :-)

{EDIT: I re-started my computer and got my photo editing program to work. I'm not a pro with photos, but I'm doing my best}.

Look Up!

Hello everyone! 

I got around to getting the über-talented Courtney Baker's stamp set "Look Up!" and I also got a little time last night to ink it up. Beautiful set! I love the font and the size for the word "up". I know, they may be details, but it does matter what impression something makes on you, isn't it? 

It's feeding time in 20 minutes for my little one, so I'd better make this QUICK.
