Clean and Simple Stamping ~ FTL 79 meets Moxi Fab World's Olympics of Stamping

Hello again!

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to work on a "clean and simple" card right after I opened my package with all the goodies from Papertrey Ink. Did I have to use all the stamp sets and inks that I ordered? No, but I did it anyway. 

So, my card started out as "clean and simple", but I'm afraid it's borderline.

Embellish Magazine Color Challenge {Celebrate Birthdays}

Hello everyone!

I'm back with a card of the ongoing Embellish Color Challenge. 

If I was to describe these colors in musical terms, I would say they are "major". Clear, crisp, concrete. I am more of a "minor" colors type of girl.

After I debated with myself if I should use a {Congratulations} sentiment or a {Happy Birthday} one and picked, I realized that I picked the wrong one! I was supposed to use a {Happy Birthday} sentiment! But I hope {Congratulations} relates somehow to a birthday. Congratulations for making through another year?! 

Anyways, Congratulations to all that successfully paired pink and green in this challenge! I'm heading over there to peek at some cards. 

Play Date Cafe Color Challenge

Hello everyone! 

In case you were wondering...I haven't had our baby yet! 

I know, it's a bit scary, but I relied on a couple of dates, that proved to not be accurate, so maybe I should look back on that romantic night in Romania when we thought that wouldn't it be just awesome if our baby was actually conceived in Romania and born in the States and consider that as a reference. 

Today I have a card for a new challenge for me, the Play Date Color Challenge and used one of my favorite sets, PTI's "Tea for Two."

I yet have to be convinced of the sentiment I used on the card, because I am not a big tea drinker. Maybe that's why I still have a little way to go until being wise. :-)

I've been following Jen del Muro's blog for quite some time, but I think I made a card for SFYTT Challenge only once. This time, I saw the sketch and I knew right away that I could use my new favorite embellies, the paper daisies. So I went ahead and made a summery card, to brighten the heavy rainy day we're having here.

I found my way back with another card. I can't really plan to make one these days, but I'm glad when I can get around to do it.

I have planned to use the most beautiful turquoise ribbon that I used to have (I still hope to have it somewhere), but I. Just. Could. Not. Find. It. So I had to improvise with some thread and turquoise cardstock. I'm not very sure it counts for the {Ribbon} Challenge, but I'll give it a try.

Papertrey Ink's 3rd Anniversary ~ Day 8 ~ Paint by Numbers

Hello everyone,

Today I washed my first load of little bitty clothes ever, to have them ready by when our little bitty boy arrives. I kept looking at them, hardly believing there are human beings out there that need clothes that small. 

While the clothes were in the washer, I made a card for Papertreyink's Paint by Numbers Challenge. What a fun challenge!  I'm always so impressed with the awesome ideas Nichole Heady comes up with. When I grow up, I want to be like her.

Papertrey Ink's 3rd Anniversary ~ Day 7 ~ CPS Sketch#153

Hello everyone!

I could have found one or two reasons not to post my card today, but who can resist the challenges going on Papertreyink (Nichole Heady) website? Walking up at 6.30 am this morning helped a lot in finishing the card for today. 

I have seen this color combination of a few web sites lately and I decided to give it a try. It worked really well with the sketch from Card Positioning Sistem #153. CPS works hand in hand with PTI for this challenge.

Papertrey Ink's 3rd Anniversary ~ Day 2

Dear everyone,

I was aware that PTI's Anniversary is coming up, but little did I know about all the wonderful challenges and surprises the PTI Girls have for the rest of us! { Thanks Laura for reminding me!}. 

And talk about deadlines! 

Although I felt kinda tired, I couldn't miss on the 2nd Day of Celebration, so I went ahead and made a card with the Dawn McVey's free digital sentiment.

During my pregnancy, I had cake a couple of times: for my birthday, on Thanksgiving, at the baby shower. But never just for the sake of it, just to enjoy a piece of cake. So today I decided that it's the day when a slice of brownie cheesecake and I share a special moment together. 

What a moment! :-)
