Hi everyone!
Today is Saturday and that means I get to have enough time to post a card. My two boys, my big baby and my little baby, are hanging out together.
I made a card for Color Cue {4} Challenge. I know that the colors "screamed" a baby boy card, but I really wanted to use Dawn's Woodgrain Silhouettes. My resources for these particular colors are rather limited, so I used some clear embossing powder to create some shades of blue. So here is what I came up with:
Recipe for {For You} Card
~ Cardstock: Papertreyink {Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist, Enchanted Evening};
~ Stamps: Wplus9 {Woodgrain Silhouettes};
~ Ink: Stampabilities' {Brown};
~ Clear Embossing Powder;
~ Gemstones: Paper Studio;
I'd love to stay longer but, as usual, it's feeding time. Again. I have become rather fond of our time spent together, nursing. We had a rocky start, but now I'm thinking that the day I'll stop nursing is going to be a sad sad day.
Hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by!

Love this card, now I go "I need a circle scallop punch" b/c I've got that set and that looks great.
Hey girl glad you popped in to share! I love that woodgrain stamp! Glad to hear you and your family are doing great.
Lovely card. I love that background. I must have that stamp.
I know how is with stop nursing, I just try to convince my self that is time for that now. But.........
Soooo, HELLOOOO excellent use of the woodgrain! I'm glad that YOU are so clever! This card rocks and I am dazzled by the details of your process! So glad you found a bit of time to show off these magnificent colors and images and join in Dawn's Color Cue! So delighted to see your fine work!
SO pretty, I love how you used the colors.
Oh, your whole card is gorgeous, but I really like your focal detail by placing the ferns on top of each other! Wonderful, fantastic card!
This card is so fun!
