With these colors, I made a card that we plan to give to my mother-in-law. Hope she likes mustard on chocolate :-) 

I just came back from a CTMH scrapbooking and card making workshop here in my hometown led by Meredith (Thank you!). Three hours later I walked away with two very cute summery pages, an even cuter card and a couple of new friends! :-)

My husband picked me up and then we took Chick-fil-A by storm. We were on the verge of passing out, so hungry we were! I had grand plans for dinner, but they all succumbed to anything that resembled food coming our way. We're much better now! :-)

Mother's Day Cards

Hello everybody from the sunny...ahmm....very rainy southern Texas right now :-) 

It rains maybe once a month here, this time on the day I wanted to take pictures of some cards! On the other side, I think the pictures taken on a cloudy day turn better, because the light is more uniform. Of course, on a rainy day it's tricky because not even the best camera can help you with some wet cards out there :-)  

I loved Laurie's Sketch #76 from the Weekend Sketch Challenge, so I made a Mother's Day card with it. 

Actually, I made a few Mother's Day cards, determined that this holiday won't sneak on me and catch me unprepared! :-)
