It's been a little while since my last post. This past week brought us very good news: we are going to have a baby!! Our first.
At least this is what they say (the pregnancy test and my ecstatic husband). All I know is that I have been nauseated days on end, been exhausted and can't touch coffee and sweets! Can't touch COFFEE?! The tinge of depression and moodiness on top of everything else probably makes my husband think that my evil twin sister's unborn spirit decided to dwell in my body for the next months.
A friend told me yesterday: "The sickness passes, but the baby stays". I believe her! :-)
I went to my craft room this morning and opened the blinds. I needed all the light I could get. I saw all these paper and punches and ribbon and ink and thought I must be liking making cards! I'm not sure anymore, but it sure looked like it!
The card for his weeks' Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge lied on my desk, sentimentless and unposted. I decided I can't let that happen. I've got to shake or ignore this uneasy feeling. I've got to get on with my life! :-)
So, this is the card! I don't understand how it turned so pastel! :-) Not my intention at the beginning. But then one shade asks for another...:-)

Congratulations!!! Yes, the nausea will go away! It was only about one and a half year ago, but I almost can`t remember it! I had to keep eating small things (saltsticks) to keep it down...Love your card by the way!
Hugs

Frumoasa! Imi place foarte mult cartea asta! (Dar nu asa de mult ca imi placi tu.)
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! SO happy for you! I second the small snacks. I used to keep crackers and dry cereal on my nightstand. I had to nibble during the night and in the morning before getting up. It will pass--best wishes!
What a wonderful news!! Congratulations!! I third the small snacks! It will pass...I promise!!
Beautiful card as always!
Big Hugs,
