Card Making Therapy

Hello everyone! How are you doing? 

I'm in a "therapeutic" phase of card making. With no particular inspiration right now, I have dedicated myself to making a few cards, but found no motivation to go on to taking pictures and posting them on the blog. I have a feeling that "all-inclusive" dedication might come around tomorrow.

I was very encouraged this morning when I saw my project for Thanksgiving Recipe Wrap-Up as an Honorable Mention on Nichole Heady's blog! I called my husband right away, although I knew he was in a meeting. He walked out and called me back, fearing it was an emergency, because I don't call him when he's busy. But this was an emergency, right? :-) 

When it comes to other senses, I've been browsing many food blogs, with eyes like onions, in the search for traditional dishes of different cultures. I'm fixed on Romanian delicacies. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen, officially to "master the art" and unofficially because I was dreaming of the first bite.  

Leaving the best news for last, we have an appointment for ultrasound in two weeks and we will know if we're expecting a little boy or a girl. We hope it's a girl, but I think the moment we'll find out, we'll forget that we had a preference in the first place :-)
