Tea Bags Advent Calendar

My husband is a big tea drinker. So I thought I would make an Advent Calendar out of tea bags. 

For this I needed:

~ a few of different kind of tea bags (according to how many days there are 'till Christmas);

~ punched tags out of cardstock ( I like the scalloped punch, but you can use any kind of shape);

~ glue;

~ any kind of numbers: rub-ons, embellishments...your choice;

~ tiny Christmas decorations that would fit on the new tag. 

I glued the original tea tag in between two scalloped tags. Then on top I glued a punched patterned paper, then rubbed on the numbers, along with some snowflakes. Then I decorated the original tea box in Christmas colors. I went on the simple side, with the colors that my husband loves, but you can go as jolly as you like!!!

I also kept the tea kinds secret, so my husband has a nice surprise every December morning! :)
